Gift Guide: Teachers

The next most requested gift guide by far this year was for teachers! We are all so thankful for our incredible teachers and knowing how to show that thanks can be tricky; especially when buying for several people. Over the years I have done a variety of things for our teachers. From gift cards to their favorite stores/restaurants to a little gift basket or a monogrammed item!

Some examples of past gifts that I have given include a cozy blanket and a gift card to Barnes and Noble for a teacher who loves to read, or a monogrammed cheese board and grocery store gift card for the entertainer, or this letter mug with a Starbucks gift card for a coffee lover. I included a few fun ideas like a personalized lanyard, the BEST coffee mug that actually keeps coffee hot, tech gloves with AMAZING reviews (Under $15 + prime) and some affordable but chic jewelry. I also love to include a note/card from the girls to their teacher and from Kris and I sharing our gratitude for them!

Gift Guide: Mother & Mother in Law

Good Morning! I woke up way before the rest of the crew today, so I am coffee in hand finishing up the most requested gift guide so far! Knowing what to buy for your mom or mother in law can be so tricky! Whether they have it all or don't want anything (in my mom's case!) it calls for some creativity. A lot of the gifts I included this year are sentimental and can include some personalization so ordering early is helpful.

I try to do a combination of a more thoughtful gift and then something from their favorite store or a monogrammed gift. An example is this last year I found these vintage books from one of my favorites Reefranaria and had them handstamped with all of Kris' parents grandchildren. They can be used as book ends or for decorating. Add a small gift to their favorite store and you are all set!

- both sets of parents in our family are in major travel mode now which is so awesome! I love these travel gift ideas: a leather tech envelope to hold their device, cords, pen, etc. and it can be personalized. a travel wallet that has amazing reviews and is super affordable. leather luggage tags are a thoughtful and affordable gift! this jewelry case can be personalized and is SO pretty and practical!

- Is she a sports fan? This cute clear cross body bag with her monogram would be a super sweet gift for football and sports watching!
- this handwritten recipe tea towel gift is so special. I love that it can be passed down!

2019 Christmas Pajamas for Girls

Hello! It is so hard to believe that it is already November! It feels like this year just started. Now that we are in November, some of my holiday content is going to start! I don't decorate until after Thanksgiving, but I always try to get my shopping done as early as possible to alleviate stress as we get closer to Christmas!
The first post in blog holiday content is all about Christmas Pajamas! For as long as I can remember, as a child, all of my siblings and I would wear matching Christmas pajamas. My mom used to make them! Amazing! I continued this tradition with the girls - except I don't make them LOL! I'm not that talented! One year I forgot about getting everyone's Christmas pajamas and found myself with not much to pick from in the end on the day before Christmas Eve so I am an early bird shopper now!
Today's post has a fun twist, because I am teaming up with one of my best blogger friends Meghan Lanahan to share pajamas for both boys and girls!
