Easter baskets have always been one of my favorite gifts to put together for the girls. I have been collecting things for their baskets for a few weeks and just put them together today. Now to hide them until Easter! I try to avoid including too many items that will just end up in the trash/donate pile right away and I also try to avoid a crazy amount of candy. But enough that I can "help" the girls eat it, ha!
Here are some of my favorite things to include in their baskets:
- Books. I always include a few in each Easter basket. These can range from children's devotionals to this book from Joanna Gaines.
- A gift that involves them taking care of something or doing a craft. This year I chose more of a gardening theme and I got these mini grow kits. You could also do a bath bomb kit or a color your own 3-D puzzle.
- New beach towels for the upcoming summer are something else I added this year. These mini towels are the perfect size for the kids. They can be monogrammed for summer camp!
- Items for school like colored pens or a new water bottle with their favorite character - these are my favorite! I bought more expensive ones last year and they started leaking on the first day. These have held up perfectly all year!
